Gandalf was originally surrendered when the cost of managing his chronic eye condition became too much for his family. He was adopted twice, but both times, he was returned because of the ongoing care his eyes require.

Through every setback, Gandalf has remained incredibly resilient... and we remain committed to giving him the comfort, care and love he deserves.
